Housing

We stand unapologetically by our policy of housing the Irish first! we reached crisis point YEARS ago. The housing crisis has been consistently ignored at the expense of the people and has only gotten worse.

Tackling the housing crisis is a priority of ours. We believe to even start to get a hold on the housing crisis.  We need to put a freeze on the sale of houses and land to non-nationals. This eases some of the demand on the supply.

What we are witnessing currently is the erosion of Irish communities. In new build housing estates the Irish are the minority in their own community, in their own country if they are lucky enough to get their own home. This is problematic and seriously needs to be addressed.

The housing issues we are facing today are systemic and the blame is on the consecutive governments. Before covid lock downs and before we opened our borders. We were told there was NOTHING to be done to help the homeless or tackle the housing crisis. We were already at crisis point before we opened our borders to the world, since then the same politicians that decided to do nothing about the looming housing crisis, showed us that accommodating thousands of people was actually in the governments power, but you are Irish so housing wasn't of any importance to them.  The government chose to exacerbate our housing crisis instead of fixing it.

To ignore the massive influx of demand of housing mass migration has caused is to ignore a MAJOR contributing factor that is making the housing crisis a thousand times worse.

It is performative to claim to care about fixing our housing issues while either ignoring or advocating for recklessly dangerous open border policies.

This current government has spent over a BILLION euros of tax payers money. YOUR money on just  the accommodation for  unvetted migrants that have zero right to be in Ireland never mind to be entitled to state funded  accommodation, when we have THOUSANDS of homeless Irish families being ignored.

There is no justification to house migrants before housing the indigenous.

The government has incentivise landlords to house migrants over natives while ignoring the THOUSANDS of Irish homeless in need of housing.

Generations of native Irish are ignored not knowing where they will end up when they need to retire or if god forbid their parents die, due to systemic dependency this government has created; we have GENERATIONS of pending homeless!

To house the world while your own people suffer is not virtuous its betrayal.
